Nov 2009. Shaun Quincey will row solo from Australia to New Zealand. If successful, Shaun will be the only solo rower, other than his father, completing the first ever Tasman Crossing in 1977. Following in the footsteps of his father, Shaun Quincey will depart Australia in November, rowing the Tasman Sea from West to East, solo with no assistance. Shaun will battle a distance of 2200km as well as 10m swells and one of the most treacherous seas in the world. Taking an estimated 50 Days, Tasman Trespasser 2 will be an epic adventure.

Hi Shaun I am wondering how you are going with your training. Can you tell us what sort of training you do to tackle such an amazing challenge and adventure. Barby
Hi Shaun, I, too, am wishing you well in your training and your adventure across the ditch. Have the date marked on my calendar, but I must remember you are a day ahead of us here in Texas in the US. I am excited for you and good luck with everything you do. If Rush Labs is behind you and all your other sponsors and supporters, how can you go wrong... pat in Texas
Wishing you the best of luck here in Texas on you quest to break the Guiness Record. I will be watching and waiting to here how it goes.....I can not even imagine, but you can do it.....even if you don't you will truly be ready for the main event!!!!! pat
I hear it's not long before you set off on your fantastic adventure.
Good luck, keep strong in mind and body, and wave to Lord Howe Island as you pass, if you plan to go that way - maybe you'll see the yellow fin, colourful fish and exotic birds around there.
Mate why didn't you just join Jenny Craig! You didn't need to row the tasman to drop a few... Amazing effort just to get to the start line. All the best, I am sure the surf boat fraternity will be following your progress with interest.
Go hard , stay safe and we'll see you when you get here!
Hi Shaun Sorry to hear you've had problems, but we are tracking you on the website and it appears you have made a little progress again... chin up, keep strong. Barby and family
